Shift Examples
* 1:45am - 11:00am - 20% shift allowance
* 5:15am - 2:30pm - 10% shift allowance
* 9:00am - 6:15pm - 10% shift allowance
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative / Setter to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Keighley.
This is a permanent position with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating machinery to produce high-quality products to customer specifications while maintaining excellent quality standards and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting and operating production machinery
* Producing goods in line with works orders and quality standards
* Reading and understanding production drawings
* Using correct tooling and materials
* Carrying out quality inspections and accurate product weighing
* Working closely with Technical and Quality departments
* Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
What We're Looking For
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Understanding of measuring equipment
* Good communication skills
* Flexible approach to rotating shifts
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
* Previous manufacturing experience
* Experience within a fast-paced production environment
* Cold forming experience
* Mechanical aptitude or machinery experience
