Fit-Out Estimator Meridian are working with a Yorkshire-based company that cover both Construction andMEPprojects across the UK, that are once again growing their commercial team. Due to thedemands of growing the business,they are looking to bring in an Estimator that specialises in construction, fit outs, joinery, and internal shopfitting. Additional training and support can be provided for the right person for this role, and this company encourages graduates and entry-level applicants into roles. Benefits include (but are not exclusive to): Starting salary in £50k - £55k range (DoE) Immediate start available (subject to successful application process) Companycar Working on pricing a variety of projects nationwide Paid accommodation allowance when working away from home Additional meal allowance when working away from home FullSSPand pension schemes 25 days holiday allowance (plus bank holidays), increasing up to 30 days with length of service Career progression and additional trainingavailable(if desired) Healthcareinsurancescheme Applications encouraged from developing/less experienced professionals, as the company offer strong opportunities for growth and progression Requirementsfor this role: Experience in the stages and delivery of commercial fit out projects such as shopfitting, bespoke joinery, and fire door installations Experience with Estimating, Pricing, and Pre-Construction phases of commercial and light industrial projects Experience with pricing, discussing, and negotiating tenders including attending supply chain meetings and site visits Good oral and written communication skills Excellent numerical skills and ability to analyse quantitativedata Computer-literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Full, UK Driving Licence (there will be travel to sites and clients involved in this role) Dutiesinclude (but are not exclusive to): Working with pre-construction and design teams to gauge equipment, materials, and supply chain usage Assist with the production of accurate tenders, to meet client's needs whilst remaining achievable and profitable Negotiate quotes and exchange data with clients and members of the supply chain.
