Overview

Join to apply for the Onboarding and Induction Coordinator role at Community Integrated Care.

This is a full-time, permanent post and you can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be able to travel to our head office in Widnes as and when required (normally 2-3 times a year).

Role purpose

As our Onboarding and Induction Coordinator, you will drive a warm, efficient, and compliant onboarding experience for new colleagues. You’ll ensure new starters feel welcomed, supported, and prepared from offer to induction, while maintaining rigorous standards that meet legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. This role bridges recruitment and operational delivery to ensure a seamless transition into service.

Day to day (not exhaustive – see attached job description)


Responsibilities

* People-Centred Onboarding
o Act as the primary contact for new starters, delivering a warm and engaging welcome.
o Guide candidates through each onboarding stage, ensuring clarity, support, and access to systems and documents.
o Liaise with Service Leaders to ensure timely handover and readiness for start dates.
* Stakeholder Collaboration
o Provide regular updates to regional teams on candidate progress.
o Escalate concerns to maintain engagement and minimise delays.
o Prompt leaders to prepare new starter packs for a consistent experience.
* Operational Excellence
o Conduct onboarding file audits and quality checks.
o Monitor onboarding pipelines, identify trends, and escalate risks to improve regional recruitment KPIs.
o Support TUPE transitions and acquisitions with coordinated onboarding and induction support.
* Compliance and Systems
o Manage pre-employment checks including DBS/PVG, Eligibility to Work, and references.
o Use systems such as Eploy, NSL Valid8, Access, RefNow, Ucheck, Disclosure Scotland, and Agresso to maintain accurate candidate records.
o Ensure confidentiality and legal compliance when handling sensitive data.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

* Background in customer service, recruitment, administration, or call centre environments.
* Experience managing compliance checks and working towards shared team goals.
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and recruitment systems).
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders via phone and in person.
* Ability to adapt to changing environments and provide professional solutions.
* Passionate about delivering a positive candidate journey.
* Team-oriented, motivated, and eager to learn.
* Confident in managing processes and meeting targets.
