Engineering Technologies Support Engineer (EngTech Support Engineer)
What will you do in the role?
As an Engineering Technologies Support Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing innovative data and analytics solutions to optimise engineering operations. You will support the development of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring initiatives.
* Work alongside the Engineering Technologies Engineer and cross-functional teams to expand use cases and proof of concept work.
* Support the implementation of digital solutions, harnessing data analytics and modelling to deliver insightful, value-driven outcomes.
* Participate in continuous improvement by analyzing and identifying areas for process and workflow enhancements to optimise operations, costs, and reliability.
* Support predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions to reduce aircraft downtime, improve reliability and safety, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with IT and Data teams to integrate digital solutions with existing systems for seamless data exchange.
* Ensure all digitisation and optimisation initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Assist in training teams on new tools, technologies, and processes to facilitate adoption.
* Create reports and visualisations to communicate findings to the wider business.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

* Have strong organisational skills and self-discipline.
* Be knowledgeable in data analytics technologies, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills, especially as aerospace engineering embraces new technologies.
* Be proficient in data analysis and modelling, with experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and R.
* Experience with Palantir Foundry or Skywise is desirable.
* Knowledge of Airline Engineering Operations and Teams is advantageous.
* Hold a degree, ideally in an Aerospace-related field.
