Job Description:
The primary objective of this position is to ensure the University is compliant with State and Federal tax regulations. This position will set up state tax contributory accounts and unemployment accounts when applicable. The position will also accurately and timely report tax adjustments to the proper Federal and State taxing authorities and General Accounting for reconciliation purposes. This position will ensure W2 and 1042S filing are complete and accurate. Minimum Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of payroll tax regulations. Working knowledge of multi state tax issues and regulations. Working knowledge of Non-Resident Alien tax reporting. Possess the ability to work independently with excellent time management skills. Excellent problem-solving skills along with keen attention to details.
