Our client is hiring a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team across South Yorkshire.
Duties
* Source, screen, and register candidates for roles across construction, warehousing, and administration.
* Learn how to build strong candidate pipelines using job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
* Support senior consultants with arranging interviews, confirming start dates, and completing compliance checks.
* Manage candidate records and keep systems updated with accurate information.
* Help maintain relationships with learners from our training programmes and assist them into work.
* Work to daily and weekly activity targets for candidate calls, interviews, and submissions.
* Handle general office tasks such as answering calls, booking appointments, and assisting with marketing.
* Shadow consultants to learn how to manage clients and job vacancies.
Experience
* No experience required – just energy, ambition, and great communication skills
* A genuine interest in recruitment, training, or helping people into work.
* Confident phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Basic IT knowledge (emails, Word, Excel, databases).
* Experience in customer service, sales, retail or hospitality is a bonus but not essential.
Salary
Pay for the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role will be: £25,000 – £35,000 PA
