Overview
Our rapidly growing Private Client Team manages the tax affairs of private equity funds, unincorporated businesses, trusts, individuals and their wider families, working closely with many successful entrepreneurs.
Alongside solving constantly evolving technical challenges, this role involves building strong relationships with clients so you become their trusted advisor, overseeing their tax affairs in line with what they want to achieve as an individual or business.

Responsibilities
* Look after a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients with complex needs, anticipating their needs and working closely with directors and partners to deliver a client‑centric service.
* Control WIP, recoveries and billing.
* Advising on a range of tax matters, including succession planning, restructuring projects and review of complex UK tax computations and returns.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure the firm has their confidence.
* Identify risk and technical matters and business development opportunities for the Partner, exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
* Ensure that the firm’s quality control procedures are adhered to.
* Lead projects of varying scale and complexity.
Qualifications
* In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation with experience advising high net‑worth individuals, their families, and wealth protection structures.
* Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including client take‑on, engagement, billings and identification of new opportunities.
* Ability to provide private client and trust compliance and advisory services using resources from a shared service team.
* Understanding of potential risks to the firm arising from various aspects of client engagement.
* Experience guiding and supervising less‑experienced colleagues.
* Ability to support, train, mentor and advise others.
* Will challenge current practice, driving improvements and championing change.
* Takes personal responsibility for own decisions and actions and those of others.
* Educated to degree level with CTA and/or ACA qualification or equivalent.
