Overview
Cedar Ward is looking for a highly motivated member of staff to join our experienced and friendly team at Hillview Lodge, Bath. Cedar Ward is a 12 bedded dementia assessment ward, providing comprehensive support for patients and their carers during a challenging phase of their illness. Cedar is a newly developed, purpose designed unit providing a high quality working environment. We pride ourselves on our person centred approach, multi disciplinary approach and strong team ethic.
Working closely with our multi-disciplinary teams, supporting service users, you will receive on the job and formal structured training. If you have some experience of caring work already that would be great - but if not, we will support you to develop the skills and experience needed.
Role Details
This role is on a ward that operates on a 24/7 shift basis. Staff will qualify for unsocial enhancements in addition to their basic pay. You will have excellent communication skills, and be happy to participate in the internal 24 hours, 7 day a week rota to meet the needs of people who use our services. We expect you to be able to demonstrate how you have worked effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting. You will need to demonstrate your commitment to personal development.
