Job overview

We are looking for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse for E4 Ward based at our Basingstoke Hospital

You will be willing to help lead our team to provide high quality, safe nursing care to Diabetes and endocrinology patients working closely alongside the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure optimal care, utilising evidence based practice and treatment modalities.

Training and Qualifications

Essential criteria

7. Professional UK registration e.g. NMC, HPC
8. Project managament experience
9. Formal training &/or experience in mentorship

Desirable criteria

10. Enhanced communication courses
11. Additional Post graduate learning in specialist field including masters degree or working towards

Experience & Knowledge

Essential criteria

12. Significant post reg experience (1) acute experience (1)
13. Evidence of implementing significant changes or service developments that promote good practice

Desirable criteria

14. ILS course
15. Experience of project management for policy development or large scale projects

Skills & Ability

Essential criteria

16. Ability to lead mdt and organise shift
17. Able to deliver formal and informal learning sessions to all groups of professionals
