Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We're seeking a proactive and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's high-performing team. This is your chance to play a key role in maintaining and improving essential production equipment while working on exciting site-wide projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Ensure all manufacturing equipment is safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Use advanced fault-finding techniques to resolve breakdowns quickly and reduce downtime.
Maintain accurate records in the CMMS for all repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Manage spare parts inventory and critical stock levels.
Monitor and improve MTTR/MTBF metrics and service schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal and external safety regulations, including subcontractor oversight.
Deliver training on autonomous maintenance practices to production teams.
Conduct planned preventative maintenance in line with statutory and company requirements.
Support the Maintenance Manager in driving departmental performance and efficiency.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (essential for electrical work).
Formal craft apprenticeship or equivalent, with ONC/HNC in Engineering.
Hands-on experience in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance.
2391 Test & Inspection certification (preferred).
High computer/PLC literacy (desirable).
MEWP and Forklift licences (advantageous - training can be provided).
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
