Role
You will play a key role in the commercial delivery of multiple groundworks schemes, supporting project teams from initial site mobilisation through to final account.
Key Duties Will Include
* Taking the commercial lead on groundworks projects, ensuring financial performance is controlled and delivered in line with expectations
* Managing and administering variations, including pricing, negotiation, and agreement with clients
* Preparing and submitting monthly valuations, ensuring timely certification and cash flow management
* Producing monthly CVRs, analysing project performance and reporting back to senior management
* Working closely with site teams to monitor costs, manage risk, and drive commercial efficiency across projects
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a specialist groundworks subcontractor environment
* Strong understanding of commercial processes on civils/groundworks projects
* Confident managing variations, valuations, and full commercial reporting cycles
* Able to work independently while supporting wider project delivery teams
* Commercially aware, organised, and proactive in approach

* Salary between £40,000 and £65,000 depending on experience
