Are you a finance professional looking for your next step?

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Crewe. You will assist in the effective management of the finance department, supporting operational activities including the preparation and delivery of weekly financial reports, reconciliation to P&L, and ensuring compliance with corporate requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent position, mainly working Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, with the potential to work from home 2 days per week.

What You'll Do on a Typical Day

* Complete weekly and monthly management accounts for specific contracts and review with the operational management team, including the General Manager and Regional Finance.
* Reconcile accounts to Oracle monthly, including preparing accruals and prepayments, raising invoicing requests, and reporting KPIs and statistical data.
* Maintain and reconcile balance sheet control accounts and post monthly charges to the P&L account.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, cost/benefit analysis, and tracking.


What You Need to Succeed at GXO

* Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent, currently studying towards completion.
* Knowledge of financial management systems and excellent Excel skills.
* Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
