As a Business Analyst, you will report to the Global Markets Control Testing Programme Head within the Markets Governance & Control Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the results of control testing, specifically covering Markets Trading and Sales businesses. 📊🔍
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Executing and reporting control testing results
✅ Supervising and coaching junior team members
✅ Monitoring testing programme execution and resolving obstacles
✅ Maintaining high standards and best practises for testing activities
✅ Providing challenge to stakeholders on control design and effectiveness
✅ Supporting stakeholders in control remediation efforts
✅ Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
✅ Presenting impactful summary outputs to stakeholders
✅ Providing Markets controls expertise across all three lines of defence
👩🏫 Qualifications and Experience:
✨ Understanding of Markets business activities and relevant regulations
✨ Knowledge of Markets Operational and Compliance risks and controls
✨ Strong understanding of control design assessment techniques
✨ Experience in Front Office controls testing, internal/external audit, or control consulting
✨ Track record of coaching and developing team members
✨ Ability to establish effective senior stakeholder relationships
✨ Proven experience in providing constructive challenge on risk management matters
🎓 Education:
A bachelor's degree or university education is preferred, but exceptional industry experience with a strong delivery track record will be considered equally important. 🎓📚
