We have an exciting opportunity to join our Talent Acquisition team, a collaborative group that supports recruitment across 32 countries in EMEA. In this role, you’ll be based in our Maidenhead office and will focus on delivering recruitment projects for the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions.

Job Summary
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers to source, engage, and assess top talent for Avnet. You’ll play a key role in ensuring current and future business needs are met by delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes while collaborating with the business, the Talent team, and the wider HR community.
You’ll have full support from your line manager, along with access to tools, resources, and development opportunities to help you learn, grow, and progress within Avnet.

What you will be doing
10. Liaising with managers to understand and agree recruitment strategies for vacancies.
11. Create job adverts, post vacancies internally and externally using a number of tools such as Workday, LinkedIn and more.
12. Shortlist CV’s and telescreen candidates
13. Arrange assessment centres and interviews
14. Maintain and build relationships with agencies to ensure current and future business requirements are met in a timely and proactive manner.
15. Carry out relevant legislative checks in accordance with current government guidance
16. Provide consistent status updates to HRBPs and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
17. Complete all documentation in line with company procedures
What we are looking for
18. Proven relevant recruitment experience
19. Thorough knowledge of UK recruitment practices
20. Demonstrable experience of utilising a number of online recruitment tools
21. Effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships at all levels both internally and externally
22. Highly target and results driven
23. Effective problem solver and decision maker
24. Positive professional person
25. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks whilst working in a fast paced high volume/service environment
26. Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
27. Excellent software knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
