About The Role
This role is within the Events Services department, supporting the management and implementation of the university’s booking allocation policy.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for booking enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face from staff, students, and visitors.
* Provide administrative support to Event Services.
* Assist in developing and implementing new booking, administration, and system procedures.
* Input bookings, work orders, and audits into university systems.
* Ensure bookings are processed in accordance with procedures.
* Explain available products and services, with opportunities to upsell.
* Coordinate space booking activities on campus, collaborating with service delivery departments as needed.
* Develop effective working relationships and support activities of Campus Service Teams and wider Estates and Facilities teams.
* Report on space booking usage to relevant stakeholders.
* Be accountable for achieving results, fostering a culture of innovation and effectiveness, especially during challenging times.
* Support the delivery of Customer Service Excellence in Estates and Facilities Management through engagement with customers and stakeholders.
* Engage in ongoing personal and professional development relevant to the role.
* Comply with the university’s Performance Enabling and Welsh language policies.
* Promote equality and diversity in the workplace and maintain positive working relationships.
* Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of College/Department or their representative within the grade.
Ensure risk management is integrated into daily activities to comply with the university’s Risk Management Policy.
