The Roles We are recruiting in Stirling for two distinct roles: 1. Specialist ASC Mentor (Autism) One-to-one, in-person mentoring for autistic students. Develop practical study strategies and reflective support. Promote resilience, independence and wellbeing. Keep GDPR-compliant records and liaise with HEIs. Requirements: Honours degree (any subject). Meet SFE Band 4 Specialist Mentor – Autism Spectrum Conditions (SM-ASC) criteria. Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting autistic young people or adults (ADHD experience desirable). 2. Specialist Mental Health Mentor One-to-one, in-person mentoring for students with diagnosed mental health conditions. Provide strategies to manage the impact of conditions on study and daily life. Encourage independence, resilience and study skills. Monitor wellbeing, assess risk and escalate where appropriate. Requirements: Accredited mental health practitioner (MBACP, UKCP, HCPC, NMC, Social Work England, OT, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Psychologist). Honours degree (any subject). Minimum 1 year post-qualifying experience with mental health conditions in young people or adults. Why Join UMO?
