The Engineering Manager will be responsible for the safety and protection of the workforce and the public from nuclear materials held on site.
Essential to meeting these targets will be the requirement to develop and deliver customer service and market driven innovation whilst fostering a culture within the business of empowerment and accountability, with a focus on sector leading operational performance.
The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified engineer (process, chemical, earth sciences) with experience of chemical or safety process engineering and project management
Key Responsibilities
* Engineering Change Process owner
* Design Authority for modifications to existing plant and engineering works.
* Responsible to the Site Manager for efficiently scheduling the processing of wastes by the operations team to the required standard for disposal.
* Deputise for the Site Manager in their absence.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
* Support the undertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competence evaluations.

Required Qualifications
Education
1. Degree Qualified in recognised Engineering subject or HND Engineering with significant practical experience.
