Overview
Paddle Scotland is the Governing Body for paddlesport in Scotland. We are a membership organisation with over 8,000 affiliated members, including more than 2,300 qualified coaches, and a network of 80 clubs and 40 delivery partners across Scotland.
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Operations Administrator to provide support in customer service and digital engagement. You’ll be the first point of contact for members and partners, helping to deliver a high-quality experience for our community.
What you will do (Responsibilities)
* Manage the shared inbox and respond to enquiries with professionalism and care.
* Support events and communicate through our digital channels.
* Provide essential operational support across the organisation in a hybrid environment (head office in Perthshire and remote).
* Coordinate logistics for the performance team and ensure systems and databases are accurate.
* Assist with training and course administration.
* Contribute to communications by creating engaging content for social media, newsletters, and our website.
* Travel across Scotland (including overnight stays) may be required to see the impact of your work firsthand.
* Support flexible and part-time working requests for the right candidate.
What we are looking for (Qualifications and Experience)
* Experience in customer service, operations support, or digital engagement is desirable.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a varied role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to travel across Scotland, including overnight stays.
* Comfort with producing content for social media, newsletters, and websites.
Role details
* Role title: Operations Administrator
* Location: Hybrid (based in Scotland) – Regular travel to the office in Perthshire required
* Employment: Full time (37 hours per week), permanent (following 3 month probation)
* Note: This role is primarily remote; however regular travel to the Perthshire office is an essential part of the job. Applicants must be resident in Scotland or willing to relocate.
