We're on the hunt for a passionate and ambitious Deputy General Manager to join us at The Green Man, Stanford – a characterful pub with rooms that's entering a new era with exciting refurbishments and investment underway.
This is the ideal role for an Assistant Manager ready to step up or a Deputy Manager looking for something fresh in a hotel-style setting.

The role:
As Deputy General Manager, you'll be at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that exceptional customer service is delivered across the board – whether it's in the bar, restaurant, or rooms. You'll:
* Lead by example, inspiring the team to deliver memorable guest experiences every time
* Support the General Manager in running day-to-day operations across food, drink, and accommodation
* Drive a warm, welcoming atmosphere where customers feel genuinely cared for
* Take responsibility for standards, training, and team development
* Deputise for the General Manager and help steer the business forward
About you:
* A hospitality natural – you love working with people and understand that great customer service is the key to success
* Either an Assistant Manager ready to progress or a Deputy Manager seeking a new challenge
* Hands-on, proactive, and commercially aware
* Able to balance operational excellence with genuine care for guests and staff alike
* Hotel or rooms experience is a bonus, but not essential
