Full time temporary position, £90 to £105 per day dependent on experience.
Teaching Personnel is seeking a supportive and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to work in Durham secondary schools on a full time, temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum
Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and progress
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
You need:
Experience working with children or young people (school based experience desirable)
Positive, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliability, flexibility, and commitment to supporting learning
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided)
