Job Description:
Manage end-to-end delivery of HVAC and pipework projects, from planning through to completion.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Resolve project-related issues and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure all works comply with industry regulations and company standards.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience managing HVAC and pipework projects, ideally within the retail sector.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and chilled water systems.
Experience working with subcontractors and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management.
SMSTS or equivalent health and safety certification.
Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions.
