About the role
We are seeking a creative, dynamic and committed leader who:
1. Has a deep passion for inclusive education, high achievement and whole-child development
2. Is confident leading strategic improvement across SEND, inclusion, achievement and pastoral systems
3. Brings strong experience of using data and assessment to identify gaps, shape interventions and measure impact
4. Can inspire, coach and develop colleagues through research informed practice and professional learning
5. Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families, staff and external partners
6. Is ready to play a full and active role within a supportive Senior Leadership Team, including deputising for the Headteacher and serving as a Deputy DSL
You will lead inclusion and achievement with care, clarity and ambition, ensuring that barriers to learning are removed thoughtfully and that every child is known, valued and supported.

You will be trusted, valued and supported to lead with integrity and innovation.
About you
16. QTS and a strong track record of impact within senior leadership
17. Secure understanding of inclusive education, SEND legislation and safeguarding
18. Experience of leading or working closely with SEND provision, including collaboration with a SENDCO and external agencies
19. Ability to use data and assessment effectively to improve teaching, learning and pupil outcomes
20. Knowledge of research-informed practice and the ability to translate this into meaningful school improvement
21. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and lead with influence
22. Emotional resilience, empathy and confidence when managing complex situations
23. Commitment to ongoing professional development, with leadership qualifications such as NPQSL, NPQH or relevant specialist NPQs welcomed
