Major Account Manager – International Parcel Delivery - £49,000 basic plus circa 25k OTE

Role Purpose
A Major Account Manager will be required to manage and develop the assigned existing major customers within the field sales territory in order to maintain and grow the market leadership position. You will need to achieve individual sales targets while meeting key customer needs.
Success Criteria
To be a successful Key Account Manager you will be required to manage and develop existing major customers within the assigned field sales territory. You will be required to visit each customer at least once every two months and you will be measured on the number of successful renegotiations and proposals that are made. You will be monitored weekly and/or monthly performance on reports and you will need to respond to customers accordingly.
Specific Role Challenges
* Maximising opportunity revenue from competitors
* Achieving fuel surcharge compliance
* Achieving annual rate increases in line with inflation.

Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years B2B sales, ideally within the logistics, courier, or freight forwarding sector, however anyone who has sold a service proposition will be considered.
* A proven track record of success against targets & KPI’s.
* Demonstrable drive, passion and hunger to seek out and win new business.
* The ability to build strong relationships and negotiate at board level.
