We are looking for an organised, proactive and client-focused individual to join our team as an Administrator, supporting our clients both pre and post offer.
The Opportunity
We seek to appoint an administrator, who will work alongside and support a small team of Mortgage Advisers, supporting the delivery of flawless administrative services to provide a singularly brilliant client experience. The role involves providing comprehensive administration support throughout the entire mortgage process – from initial client onboarding and documentation collection to liaising with stakeholders and ensuring smooth progression from offer to completion.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude towards change and improvement in both personal and team delivery, alongside an appetite to learn. They will also possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
For this role we’re looking for a candidate who is able to demonstrate success in a Mortgage Administration role and who is excited to take on their next role in an organisation that will support their personal and professional growth.
Person Specification
* Previous experience in a mortgage administration position
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all mediums, to include Microsoft Word and Excel along with in house CRM systems and provider websites.
* Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
* A proactive, self motivated approach with the ability to work independently when required.
* Ability to work well in a small team and demonstrate a high standard of client experience and a desire to help others.
* Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* A responsible approach, with a willingness to take ownership of matters that arise and deal with them effectively.
* Adaptable and able to self-manage time.
* Great organisational skills.
* Previous administrative experience or customer service experience in a financial or mortgage settings is preferred but not essential.
* Flexible approach to work environment, with a willingness to travel to our other offices
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for the administration of client support and documentation and seeing though the whole client journey process from onboarding to completion.
* Be involved in stakeholder communication and relationship management, for example client interaction and working closely with our mortgage advisers and our external Lenders.
* Respond to written and telephone enquiries from clients and providers.
* Maintain client records within the back-office system in an orderly and comprehensive manner.
* Ensuring all required documentation is always on file.
* Ensuring all meeting follow-up work is completed within agreed timescales.
* Working within compliance framework and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
