Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings.
This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will also be available to help with last minute sickness cover and to help cover holidays where needed.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
* Dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
* Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Skills
* Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
* Excellent time management skills, capable of working efficiently under minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
* A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
