The team
Our News team delivers high-quality, trustworthy coverage that attracts over 3.5 million viewers. We operate across England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and the Channel Islands, with a Political Unit in Westminster and production out of ITV Wales, UTV, and ITV Border.
The role
We seek an Early Presenter for our broadcast and digital news team at ITV Anglia.
You will work with our Good Morning Britain production team, scripting, editing, setting up stories, managing our website, creating social media content, and presenting stories to early morning viewers. You may also present lunchtime bulletins.
The Early Presenter defines the look and feel of ITV Anglia news, on-air and online. Digital skills are essential for managing online presence and social media updates. You may participate in production and planning meetings later in the day.
You should have an excellent journalism background, live performance skills, a warm broadcast voice, an authoritative yet approachable on-screen presence, and experience in writing for TV and online.
You will stay updated with news trends and ensure compliance standards are met.

Skills required (minimum criteria):
* Proven journalism experience on TV and online
* Excellent live presenter skills
* Experience in a busy newsroom
* Knowledge of media law and Ofcom regulations
