We are looking for a Research Access Reviewer who will be responsible for the initial internal review of Application Forms (SAFs), conducting the initial internal review of sample access and recontact Study Proposal types (ensuring appropriate elevation to Science and Access Team members), and the review of amendments to approved studies, annual study reports and publications.
You will also be co-responsible, with other members of the Access Team, to work with Tech, Science and Product to build a process to quickly search and identify duplicate studies and coordinate collaborations where possible. Alongside this, you will facilitate research by forging and managing scientifically driven collaboration between researchers, as well as promoting and demonstrating trust to Our Future Health participants and researchers in maintaining a transparent access process.
Our Future Health is the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent and treat diseases. We are a charity, supported by the UK Government, in partnership with charities and industry. We work closely with the NHS and with public authorities across all nations and regions of the UK.
Our plan is to bring together 5 million volunteers from right across the UK who will be asked to contribute information to help build one of the most detailed pictures we have ever had of people’s health. Researchers will be able to use this information to make new discoveries about human health and diseases. So future generations can live in good health for longer.
What you’ll be doing

This will include supporting the Access Board and researchers applying to access the resource. You will bring your experience and expertise in scientific research, and you will manage and support all elements of the access process to the highest standards. * Maintaining continued oversight of researchers and approved research studies during their lifecycles, such as the review of amendments, reports and publications.
* Forging and managing scientifically driven collaborations between researchers.
* Contributing to the development of Our Future Health policies and procedures.
* Working closely with other teams within Our Future Health to further the aims of the organisation.
* Undertaking other duties deemed appropriate to the level of the post and to be flexible to the requirements of the environment and research programme.
