Role Overview:
As a Dental Practice Manager at the London Smile Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. You will oversee the daily management of the practice, ensuring that both patients and staff have a positive experience. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing staff, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will work closely with our marketing team to drive business growth and implement promotional initiatives to attract and retain patients. You will also benefit from the expertise of our experienced Lead Nurse, who will provide support in ensuring the clinic’s compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of the clinic, ensuring smooth operation and high patient satisfaction.
2. Manage and lead a team of dental professionals, including reception staff, hygienists, and dental nurses.
3. Work with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to promote the clinic and grow the patient base.
4. Utilize LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms to build the practice’s presence, demonstrating a proven ability to leverage these tools for practice growth.
5. Network directly with HR departments of large local businesses to establish corporate discount programs and create a steady flow of new patients.
6. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
7. Maintain financial records, including budgets, billing, and payroll.
8. Handle patient queries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
9. Ensure the practice meets all health and safety standards, with support from the lead nurse for compliance-related matters.
10. Coordinate appointment schedules and manage patient flow.
11. Oversee marketing and business development initiatives to grow the practice.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager or in a similar managerial role within a healthcare setting.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
4. A good understanding of financial management and budgeting.
5. Knowledge of dental software systems and patient management tools.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated experience in utilizing LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms to build practice visibility and patient base.

Qualifications:
