Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust 12-month Fixed Term Contract Purchase Ledger Clerk £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Monday - Friday We are seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team at Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust to assist with all aspects of Purchase Ledger and assisting with accounts administration tasks across the organisation. We are seeking someone who is detail-driven, well organised and has strong communication skills. Resolving supplier and internal queries in a timely manner. Processing and paying staff expense claims. Processing weekly and ad-hoc supplier payment runs. Ensuring compliance with purchase controls, such as new supplier authorisation. Performing accounts administration tasks including day-to-day banking tasks and posting journals. Supporting the senior finance and other colleagues as required. Qualifications and skills: At least 2 years’ experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. A team player who is forward thinking and happy to support colleagues as required. Strong work ethic and comfortable working to deadlines. Strong communication skills to be able to deal effectively with supplier and internal queries. Highly motivated and committed to best practice and process improvement. Strong Excel, numerical and written skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality to protect sensitive information. Experience in an educational setting is desirable.
