Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, and order fulfilment. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Duties
* Own vehicle and driving license essential for commuting to work
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
* Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
* Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular counts.
* Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing shipments, ensuring all orders are fulfilled accurately.
* Manage shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical function.
* Support construction-related tasks as needed within the warehouse environment.
* Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
* Previous warehouse experience is essential; training will be provided.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
