We are seeking a full-time Consultant in Acute Medicine to support this ambitious new inpatient model, embrace technological advances in patient care, and contribute to the evolving vision of our multi-specialty medical team.

The Department of Acute Medicine, part of the Division of Medicine at Ipswich Site, currently comprises 7 consultants working in our recently refurbished Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) within a multi-disciplinary team, equipped with modern facilities.
The department aims to provide efficient, friendly services for our local population and to develop comprehensive acute services aligned with evolving emergency care strategies.
The post holder will work closely with Departments of Specialty Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, and allied health professionals within the EAU to deliver comprehensive assessment for all medical emergencies. Good communication skills and collaboration are essential.
