Role Overview and Responsibilities
At TT Electronics, we require a Programme Manager (Interconnect & NPI) to join our team based at our site in Abercynon, South Wales.
The Programme Manager is responsible for day to day management of their assigned projects and must be competent in managing the six aspects of a project, i.e scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.
Key responsibilities include
* Meeting with internal and external stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
* Developing detailed project plans and identifying key milestones to guide customers, staff members and project teams.
* Ensuring timely communication of any revisions.
* Creating effective communication strategies and quality plans.
* Managing the project through the gated process from concept to manufacturing and leading the phased gate exit review meetings.
* Working with the relevant department managers to secure the required resource commitment.
* Identifying and assigning project tasks.
* Monitoring project performance indicators whilst identifying and recording risks, mitigating where possible and communicating impact potential.
* Chairing regular project team meetings, capturing key information/ activities and reporting on outcomes.
* Compiling and submitting project status reports to customers, management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
What we're looking for
* A strong understanding of project management philosophies and their relevant applications across varying project types.
* Experience in the use of gated processes and managing stage reviews.
* The ability to prioritise activities based on an understanding of the business needs.
* The ability to work in a structured and methodical way.
* The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
* The ability to coach team members at all levels to develop understanding and ownership of project requirements.
* HNC/Degree in a relevant discipline or Project Management qualification.
The following would enhance your application but is not essential to apply
* Experience within the Rail or Defence markets.
* Experience within the Connector or Cable assembly industry.
* Previous experience in the use of Daptiv software.
