The job will be within our Enhanced Treatment Team (ETT) of the Adult Eating Disorder Service. The postholder will be expected to complete home visits and will need to drive and have access to a car for work. Our patients will have a GP within Surrey and North East Hampshire.
Responsibilities
As the ETT Eating Disorders Specialist Dietitian your duties are to provide dietetic consultation, education, meal planning support and liaison to adults with moderate to severe eating disorders, to members of the multidisciplinary team and associated services. The post holder will be a member of the multidisciplinary adult eating disorders team, participating in ongoing assessments, care planning and treatment of adults with eating disorders across the Adult Eating Disorders Service (Enhanced Treatment Team, outpatient and daycare settings). To strengthen and actively contribute to the overall leadership of the Service. To reduce hospital admissions and assist people who are using the service to remain in the community. The postholder will be expected to work flexibly within all the identified services across Surrey and NE Hants, as needed.
