About the Role: As a Social Work Learning Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) as they embark on their Assessed & Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). You will be at the forefront of nurturing talent, ensuring high standards of practice, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. You will be based in the Service Development and Assurance Team, however, will be working collaboratively with members of Workforce Development Team, who have roles supporting the ASYE programme. Key Responsibilities: Mentorship & Support: Conduct support and assessment meetings, 3/6/12-month reviews, and direct observations with NQSWs. Quality Assurance: Provide ongoing quality assurance of ASYE portfolios and reflective practice supervisions. Collaboration: Work closely with assessors, managers, and stakeholders to embed good practice and solve problems. Professional Development: Encourage career pathways and continuous professional development for staff. Data Management: Gather, collate, and present ASYE data to support workforce planning. Experienced Mentor: Hold a Social Work Practice Education qualification with current and proven experience of mentoring and assessing practitioners, including observations of practice. Excellent Communicator: High level of interpersonal and communicative skills to engage with diverse audiences. Strong Organisation: Proficient in a M365 range of IT packages and remote working tools, able to work in a methodical way to deadlines and Service Level Agreements, prioritising work and managing competing demands.
