Mail Sorter – Hemel Hempstead Mail Centre (Temporary Role)
Location: Hemel Hempstead Mail Centre, HP2 7XX
Pay Rates:
1. Earlies & Lates: £14.48 per hour
2. Nights: £15.74 per hour
Start Date: Throughout November
Inductions: Within the next 2 weeks
Contract Length: Temporary assignment until end of December 2025

We’re hiring Mail Sorters to support operations at Hemel Hempstead Mail Centre, one of Royal Mail’s key distribution hubs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team environment during one of the busiest times of the year.
Shift Patterns Available:
3. Early Shifts – 6am – 2pm
4. Late Shifts – 2pm – 10pm
5. Night Shifts – 10pm – 6am
You’ll play a key role in sorting letters and parcels, making sure mail is processed efficiently and accurately to meet delivery schedules.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Physically fit and able to lift and move mailbags
7. Strong attention to detail and good timekeeping
8. Team player with a positive attitude
9. Comfortable with fast-paced warehouse environments
