Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Year 4 Support
Location: BL0, Bury
Start Date: After February Half Term – Monday 23rd February
Contract: Until the end of the academic year
Pay rate: £13.75 per hour (AWR will be addressed)
Hours:
* Monday: 9:00am–2:30pm
* Tuesday: 9:00am–3:30pm
* Wednesday: 9:00am–3:30pm
* Thursday: 9:00am–3:30pm
* Friday: 9:00am–2:30pm
We are pleased to be advertising this vacancy on behalf of a lovely primary school in the BL0 area of Bury. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class from 23rd February until the end of the academic year.
About the Role
* Supporting children within a Year 4 class, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis when required
* Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and learning interventions
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff
* Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
* A proactive, supportive, and nurturing approach
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
