Female Housing Assistant
Based in Bristol, this full‑time, permanent role involves 37.5 hours per week and participation in the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota. Salary is £28,598 per annum (Point 12) with a benefits package.
We provide high and medium level supported housing for single homeless women with complex needs aged 22 and over, commissioned by Bristol City Council.

Role Overview
As a Housing Assistant, you will work as part of a dedicated housing team within the supported housing service at Missing Link, responsible for delivering high‑quality housing management and overseeing accommodation‑based services for women with complex needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure safe, high‑standard homes by overseeing repairs, health and safety checks, and liaising with landlords and contractors.
* Empower and inform women to meet financial responsibilities of their tenancy or licence following organisational rent and arrears procedures.
* Ensure rooms are available for new users when needed, achieving quick void turnarounds to meet internal deadlines.
* Collaborate with support teams to help residents understand and comply with licence or tenancy obligations.
* Support the overall housing management service, working within the team's objectives (non‑exhaustive list).
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with people with mental health needs, or complex and multiple needs (including homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency, long‑term conditions, domestic abuse and sexual violence).
* Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety.
* Ability to maintain hope and optimism for individuals with high expectations for recovery.
* Strong documentation and time‑management skills, ensuring up‑to‑date, clear record‑keeping in line with policies and procedures.
* Current full driving licence and access to an appropriate vehicle (travel throughout Bristol required).
