We are seeking a passionate individual to help improve our operations to deliver more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with our service vision and business strategy. You will bridge current and future business models and contribute to business architecture, challenging constructively and acting as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. You will collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, supporting design, build, and delivery to meet user needs.
Senior BAs will lead in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions for enhancing the Business Analysis Service, acting as technical leads, supporting colleagues, and shaping work scopes.

The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading various change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, supporting sustainable development and creating better places for people and wildlife.

Experience/Skills Required
* Leadership: Guiding colleagues, leading projects, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Communication: Effective verbal and written skills for conveying findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders for project alignment.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify issues, and make informed decisions.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical support products like requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Substantial experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects swiftly to support business needs.
* Experience working in Agile environments or within the Government Digital Service.
* Experience leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and skill sharing.
Additional Information
You will have an inclusive development plan, with appropriate training provided. The role is flexible/hybrid with an EA Office base location. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
