 
        
        Geospatial Data Consultant – 1SPATIAL GROUP LIMITED
Location: Cambridge, UK (Hybrid working model)

Would you be a good fit for the 1Spatial Professional Services team? We are looking for people who are collaborative, smart and innovative and who care about learning and continuous improvement. You will be a self‑motivated problem solver with good communication skills.
Responsibilities
 * Work with a team tasked with delivering customer‑focused projects and potentially contribute to the development of 1Spatial products and solutions.
 * Engage closely with customers as a confident, engaging customer‑facing persona.
 * Deliver solutions that automate the modification, management and reuse of complex spatial and non‑spatial data using 1Spatial’s rule‑based solutions, third‑party products such as FME from Safe Software, ESRI ArcGIS, VertiGIS, QGIS and PostGIS.
 * Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, construct demonstrations and deliver presentations to win business.
 * Travel to customer locations and events throughout the UK as required.

Qualifications
 * A degree in Geography, Geospatial Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
 * A pragmatic approach to problem‑solving, strong customer engagement skills, sharp analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
 * Enthusiasm for learning, enhancing skills and gaining hands‑on experience.
 * Familiarity with spatial technologies and data, particularly tools such as ESRI, Safe FME, or VertiGIS.
 * Experience with programming or data‑processing languages such as Python, R and SQL is a plus.
 * Willingness to undergo Baseline security clearance (BPSS) and a Counter‑Terrorist Check (CTC); candidates with existing higher clearance may qualify for remote roles.
