Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading, international supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Logistics Co-Ordinator to oversee the co-ordination of timely and accurate shipments. With a good package, this is a great opportunity for an individual with experience of using logistics looking for a new opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Engage in regular communication with clients
* Ensure timely schedules for client orders
* Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
* Maintain accurate and consistent records
* Identify and fix shipping errors
* Understand inventory databases
* Support to Warehouse and Installations departments
* Oversee production timelines
Requirements
It is essential that you have experience of working within a similar role for a number of years, preferably within an intralogistics solutions industry but other industries will also be considered. It is also highly desirable that you have a high-level of IT proficiency, with skills in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & PowerPoint as well as experience using an ERP system (preferably SAP). The role will require a dynamic individual as the environment will be demanding. Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to live within commutable of the company s office in Birmingham.
