What you will enjoy doing
1. You will ensure the roadworthiness, safekeeping, and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle
2. You will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheets for your vehicle and any specialized equipment required for your tasks
3. You shall operate specialized Linde equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary to load and unload vehicles
4. You will apply defensive driving techniques and demonstrate knowledge of commercial driving regulations to guarantee the safe transit and delivery of cylinders
5. You will deliver approximately 15–20 gas cylinders per day to customers in your area
6. Furthermore, you will use safe manual handling techniques to deliver and collect cylinders from customers
7. Lastly, you will uphold strict Health and Safety standards in all operations
What makes you great
8. You are holding an HGV/LGV Cat C licence
9. ADR (Class 2 in packages) desirable and training will be provided where appropriate
10. A driver CPC is required
11. Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations
12. Ability to interact with internal and external customers
13. Having a high level of personal integrity suits to your profile
14. Have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 2 years, for insurance purposes
