The purpose of this role is to act as a source of clinical support, advice and knowledge to support the implementation of the Trust digital strategy and EPR.
The Neonatal Digital Nurse will support the development, implementation and successful adoption of our electronic patient record (Badgernet) ensuring we are aligned across sites in our vision for future digital functionality for frontline nurses. Equally key are the links with midwives, allied health professionals, pharmacy, and medical colleagues across our organisation to ensure integrated and multi-professional digital workflows are adopted where this is best clinical practice.

Main duties of the job
The Neonatal Digital Nurse will be required to support digital clinical representation at key forums and events to promote staff engagement with the Trust digital strategy. They will be an active member of projects as required and will support reporting and presenting progress on nursing issues and standards.
·Recent or current experience within Neonates
·Experience and knowledge of the Trust digital strategy and national digital strategies
·Experience using an electronic patient record - badgernet
·Experience of involvement in service improvement, project work and managing change.
·Experience of planning and implementing changes to services and procedures in clinical areas

Essential criteria
8. •Recent or current experience within neonatal services
9. •Experience and knowledge of the Trust digital strategy and national digital strategies
10. •Experience using an electronic patient record, specifically experience using BadgerNet.
11. •Experience of involvement in service improvement, project work and managing change
12. •Experience of planning and implementing changes to services and procedures in clinical areas
Desirable criteria

16. •ECDL or equivalent
Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
17. Registered Nurse or Midwife..
18. Recognised training, coaching or mentoring qualification or equivalent experience.
19. Degree or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
20. •Postgraduate Qualification in or equivalent advanced specialist knowledge in Information Technology
21. •Audit or research experience within the clinical area
22. •Experience of providing formal teaching sessions
23. •Experience of line management responsibilities
