The Regional Business Development Manager role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success as the business continues its exciting growth plan. This pivotal role within each of our local markets involves account development and the identification of new business opportunities to further strengthen our market presence.
This role is a mix of field-based customer engagement and weekly time at our Horsham Head Office to support customer account development within the defined portfolio and broader portfolio development activities.
A background in the hire sector is advantageous but not essential; experience in a field sales account development role is necessary.
Main Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
1. Oversee, manage, and develop a defined portfolio of newly acquired customer accounts.
2. Identify and secure new customer accounts aligned with local market sales revenue goals.
3. Manage the growth and development of key accounts in line with business growth objectives.
4. Support and achieve sales growth targets for all FTH products and services.
5. Research, develop, and deliver customer account proposals and agreements.
6. Collaborate with local, regional, and internal marketing teams to maximize business opportunities.
7. Act as a brand ambassador across industry marketing and promotional opportunities.
8. Provide market intelligence and insights to the regional team and overall business.
9. Maximize customer awareness and trading performance via internal management platforms.
10. Serve as a point-of-contact to enhance the customer end-to-end experience.
11. Generate and analyze sales performance reports for local management.
12. Manage hire enquiries and orders as required.
