We are recruiting HGV Shunter Drivers to join a leading logistics operation in Rugby on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering regular 4 on / 4 off shifts, with fixed days or nights (no rotation) – giving you excellent work-life balance and predictable hours. As a Shunter Driver, you’ll play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly, safely moving trailers and supporting the yard operation.
Key Responsibilities
Safely move and position trailers across the yard
Carry out pre-use safety and compliance checks
Report any defects, damage, or incidents promptly
Maintain a clean, organised yard environment
Support site safety by monitoring driving standards and speed compliance
Undertake general warehouse duties including picking and loading/ unloading containers
What We’re Looking For
Valid HGV Class 1 or Shunter licence
Previous yard or shunting experience (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Willingness to complete a basic DBS check
