Daily Rate: £85.50 – £120 per day
About the Role
We are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil within a welcoming primary school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them access learning in a nurturing and structured environment.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the child’s learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with additional needs
Support the child’s learning, communication and social development
Implement strategies outlined in the pupil’s support plan or EHCP where applicable
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Support classroom engagement and participation in learning activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children, ideally in a SEN or primary setting

Be able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
