* Salary: £38,000–£45,000 + Overtime & Bonus
* Hours: Monday–Friday, Days (Flexible)

We are an established manufacturer based in Bromley, specialising in industrial printed packaging and precision machining. We serve local FMCG clients and engineering workshops, operating from a modern estate with a structured maintenance team. We are now looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to enhance our team.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
* Carry out planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on various mechanical systems including rollers, conveyors, print presses, and CNC machines.
* Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, belts, and bearings.
* Support occasional machine strip-downs, rebuilds, and component retrofits.
* Maintain accurate logs and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO standards.
What We Need from You
* Qualification or experience as a mechanical or multiskilled engineer (NVQ3, City & Guilds, or apprenticeship).
* Experience in packaging, printing, or light manufacturing environments.
* Strong fault-finding skills and mechanical aptitude.
* Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet business needs.
