Salary: £16,500 – £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time only (39 weeks)

Are you compassionate, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a Primary SEN School in Aylesbury .
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping our pupils thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally—in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs
* Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
* Use strategies such as visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support pupil engagement
* Assist with personal care, where required
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
* Is patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
* Understands the importance of structure, routine, and differentiated learning
* Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or similar) or is willing to undertake training
* Has a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
