Raytheon UK is searching for a Facilitation Specialist to join our OMNIA® Training team. You will play a critical role in the delivery of the Collective Training Transformation Programme, collaborating within a matrix organisation and supporting the British Army’s future training needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and coordinate support requirements to deliver, sustain, and recover Collective Training at the point of need.
* Plan, develop and implement tailored exercise support solutions for Collective Training Events.
* Support the design and delivery of collective training and update it to reflect changes in the Force Preparation Schedule.
* Deputise for the Facilitation & Administration Lead when required.
* Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure training support aligns with the operational environment, threat pacing and current British Army doctrine.
* Develop support proposals using inputs from MOD stakeholders and information sources such as the FPS, ESOR and ILS reports.
* Support the design, integration and implementation of training support solutions across the programme.
* Direct support services to implement approved options and ensure readiness through formal capability briefings and reporting.
* Liaise with Logistic Support and Real‑Life Support providers within Omnia Training and across the wider army and industry.
* Ensure governance, risk management and compliance standards are met throughout the transformation lifecycle.
* Report on progress, risks and outcomes to Training Support leadership.
* Carry out any other duties required to develop and support the F&A Service.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience designing Collective Training Exercise Support Solutions for the British Army.
* Strong background in logistics and technical support solutions.
* Understanding of management methodologies and best practices.
* Experience managing multiple stakeholders and influencing at all organisational levels.
* Experience in programme governance, risk management and benefits realisation.
* Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
* Attention to detail, passion for quality and the ability to plan and multitask.
* Adaptable to evolving priorities and roles.
* Experience working with public sector or defence‑related programmes.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience with training in the UK and overseas.
* Familiarity with data‑driven decision‑making and digital transformation tools.
* Knowledge of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
* Ability to foster innovation and drive cultural change within large organisations.
* Experience managing vendor relationships and third‑party delivery partners.
