From November 2025 until at least March 2026 we will berunning a new DVT service in Swindon and are looking for a registered nurse to joinour team on a casual/bank basis.

Main duties of the job
Working to our agreed DVT Treatment protocols, the DVT Nurse (DVTNs) will be responsible for theinitial nursing assessment and subsequent education and care of patients with confirmed DVT orinconclusive scans. The post holder will recognise the impact of a diagnosis of DVT on each patientand ensure information is given in a manner and timely way that patients can understand, giving timefor questions.

Job responsibilities
As a key member of our clinical team, you will deliver a high standard of patient care and administrative duties within community outpatient clinics. Working with a team consisting of a Nurse, Healthcare Assistant and Sonographer or Vascular Scientist, you will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient clinics ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality are respected. The ability to use your own initiative, multi-task, and work under pressure are all essential.
