Contract for a Development Engineer – Air & Fuel Systems
Location: Peterborough onsite
Sector: Industrial Diesel Engines (up to 7 litres)
As a Design & Development Engineer, you'll take ownership of critical air and fuel system components. Collaborating with global teams, you’ll be involved from concept through to production, achieving world-class performance, reliability, and quality.
You’ll become a vital part of a high-performing team known for its technical excellence, collaborative spirit, and real-world impact.
Your Expertise:
* 6+ years in off-highway diesel engine development
* Strong background in:
* Fuel systems, air systems, EGR systems, and turbochargers
* Engine performance and data analysis
* APQP, FMEA, and DVP&R processes
* Proficient in:
* 3D CAD design using PTC Creo
* PLM systems such as Siemens TeamCenter
* Simulation, rig testing, and full system testing
